Bit Bot and Raven Banner have unveiled the stunning limited edition Blu-ray release of Skinner’s Shrine of Abominations, the acclaimed stop-motion horror fantasy from artist Skinner and filmmaker Ross Kennedy.
This premium collector’s edition is available to order now and features an exclusive holographic O-card, created for fans of practical effects cinema, dark fantasy, and boutique physical media.
As for plot, Shrine of Abominations is set “on the cursed world of Orbus Kaal, Gar-Gnargorath, the malevolent leader of the council of wizards, tries to invoke the cosmic horror forms of Demotep to begin his universal plans of revenge and domination. Gar Gnargorath’s plans to gain power may not be so easy, as the horrible being known as Morgogg also exists in this realm. Perhaps they should meet!”
The stop-motion animated cosmic tale was financed after a successful Kickstarter campaign and is a culmination of Skinner and Kennedy’s affinity for Ray Harryhausen, Jack Kirby, and weird cosmic stories of lost lore.
