The classic television series The Munsters will make its worldwide Blu-ray debut with The Munsters: The Complete Series Limited Edition set, coming soon from Imprint Films.
Pre-orders open October 15 for the Limited Edition Large Blu-ray Hardbox set, which features all 70 classic episodes of the television series along with three of The Munsters feature films.
Imprint Films previews, “The television studio backlots of ’60s California were alive with quirky families – a golden moment in American television where supernatural sitcoms ruled the airwaves, with Bewitched, I Dream of Jeannie, My Favourite Martian, and The Addams Family striking a chord with primetime viewers. But one family stood out as the quirkiest of them all.
“The Munsters live at 1313 Mockingbird Lane, certain that they are a perfectly ordinary American family, and cannot for the life of them understand why the neighbors keep running away screaming. Over 70 beloved episodes, we get to know Herman, a gentle giant who bears more than a passing resemblance to Frankenstein’s monster; his vampire wife Lily; her father Grandpa, an alchemist and sometimes Count Dracula; their werewolf son Eddie; and their niece Marilyn.
“Imprint Television is proud to have scanned and restored all 70 episodes from the original series, presented here in high-definition for the first time worldwide, alongside 17 brand NEW audio commentaries, hours of archival Special Features, the 1966 film Munster, Go Home, and the two television movies The Munsters’ Revenge (1981) (in a NEW 2026 restoration) and Here Come the Munsters (1995).”
Highlights of the jam-packed set include…
- two Hardcases featuring flip lenticular artwork, housing all 14 Blu-ray discs;
- a large-format Hardcover Episode Guide Book;
- a full-colour matte laminated 27″ x 40″ folded print of the original poster for Munster, Go Home (1966 film);
- eight Lobby Cards featuring original production character portrait photography
Starring Fred Gwynne as the lovable Herman, Yvonne De Carlo as Lily, and Al Lewis as the irrepressible Grandpa, The Munsters made an enormous impact on television and popular culture, and today remains as warm, funny, and endlessly charming as the day it first aired.
This strictly Limited Edition packaging features a large hardbox with a holographic finish, spot gloss embossing, and a removable PVC slipcover with partial printing.
