Louise and Kasper want to become parents but Louise is unable to have children. She seals a pact with her Romanian maid, Elena, to bear Louise’s child, but things don’t turn out as they planned.
That’s the twisted plot of Ali Abbasi’s Shelley, which stars Ellen Dorrit Petersen, Cosmina Stratan, and Björn Andrésen.
IFC tells Bloody Disgusting that Shelley will release in theaters (NY and LA) on July 29 as well as On Demand, iTunes, Amazon, X-Box, Google Play, etc.
