I have renewed confidence in M. Night Shyamalan after he blew me away with last year’s found-footage thriller The Visit, while also directing and shepherding the debut season of FOX’s overachieving “Wayward Pines”.
His next film, Split, ups the ante adding two of the bigger names in Hollywood: James McAvoy (X-Men) and Anya Taylor-Joy (The Witch, Morgan). Betty Buckley, Jessica Sula and Haley Lu Richardson also star in the suspense thriller that’s said to have elements of the supernatural.
Bloody Disgusting has your first ever images of the cast from Split, which Universal will release in theaters on January 20, 2017.
Split brings back part of the team from The Visit, which includes producer Marc Bienstock and executive producers Ashwin Rajan and Steven Schneider (Insidious, Blair Witch).
