With the trailer to drop tomorrow (here’s the teaser), Sony Screen Gems has released the first official image from Paul W.S. Anderson’s Resident Evil: The Final Chapter. Damn, does Alice (Milla Jovovich) looks spent or what? It’s not surprising considering what she’s been through. But this is the final chapter, and we’ll find out if she can stop the Umbrella Corp. this coming January.
Ali Larter returns as Claire Redfield, Iain Glen will return as Dr. Isaacs, with Shawn Roberts playing Albert Wesker once again. New additions also include Ruby Rose as Abigail, Eoin Macken (The Night Shift) as Doc, Cuban American actor William Levy as Christian, Fraser James (“Law & Order: UK”) as Michael, and Japanese model and TV personality, Rola, as Cobalt.
Picking up immediately after the events in Resident Evil: Retribution, Alice (Milla Jovovich) is the only survivor of what was meant to be humanity’s final stand against the undead. Now, she must return to where the nightmare began – The Hive in Raccoon City, where the Umbrella Corporation is gathering its forces for a final strike against the only remaining survivors of the apocalypse.
