Re-Animator and From Beyond star Barbara Crampton recently returned to acting in Adam Wingard’s You’re Next, before appearing in last year’s acclaimed We Are Still Here, as well as Sun Choke and Beyond the Gates.
Next up for the genre maven is Replace, directed by first-time filmmaker Norbert Keil, a horror-thriller starring Rebecca Forsythe (We Are Your Friends) as a young woman who is afflicted with a strange disease. When she starts to age rapidly, she discovers that she can replace her own skin with the skin of others to maintain her beauty.
Bloody Disgusting has some new images from the film screening at the upcoming Los Angeles Film Festival.
In addition to Forsythe and Crampton, Replace stars Lucie Aron and Sean Knopp, while the script was written by Keil and, get this, Richard Stanley, the director of Hardware and Dust Devil!
