They may not be headed back to the big screen any time soon, as the Dark Universe flopped pretty hard last year, but the iconic Universal Monsters are headed to Austin, Texas’ Mondo Gallery for a brand new art exhibit later this month.
Via THR, who got their hands on some sneak preview pieces today, Mondo’s latest Universal Monsters exhibit will run from January 19 through January 27 at The Mondo Gallery, located at 4115 Guadalupe Street in Austin.
“Ever since our original Universal Studios’ Monsters show in 2012, we always knew we’d love to revisit it with a handful of fresh, new posters,” Mitch Putnam, Mondo Creative Director, said in a statement to the site. “We’ve got a bunch of our favorite artists tackling some of the most thrilling films of all time, so this one is kind of a dream come true.”
