It was reported last week that the title role in Todd McFarlane/Blumhouse’s upcoming Spawn feature film has been offered to Jamie Foxx, who had not long ago expressed serious interest in playing the iconic comic book character. Mind you, this is a rumor at this time; even if he’s been offered the role, Foxx certainly hasn’t (yet) accepted.
Keeping that in mind, the always awesome Boss Logic imagines Jamie Foxx as Spawn today with two concept posters, showing Foxx’s Spawn both masked and unmasked.
What do you think? Good casting or nah, not so much?
The film will be a supernatural thriller, with Spawn himself essentially playing the role of the shark in Jaws. He won’t speak, and the main character will be a Chief Brody-like cop.
