As announced earlier today, The Meg star Ruby Rose has been cast as DC’s Batwoman for The CW, her iteration of the character debuting in December as part of the network’s annual DC Arrowverse crossover event. *Potentially,* Rose’s Batwoman will then be getting her own standalone television series, though that’s not yet set in stone.
In the meantime, our pal Boss Logic just put his skills to the test, whipping up a piece of art that imagines how Rose could look as Batwoman. Of course, we really have no idea what the character is going to look like at this point, but Boss Logic’s art is based on the version of Batwoman that debuted back in 2006, which Rose’s version seems to be based on.

In The CW’s Batwoman, written by Caroline Dries…
“Armed with a passion for social justice and a flair for speaking her mind, Kate Kane (Rose) soars onto the streets of Gotham as Batwoman, an out lesbian and highly trained street fighter primed to snuff out the failing city’s criminal resurgence. But don’t call her a hero yet.
In a city desperate for a savior, Kate must overcome her own demons before embracing the call to be Gotham’s symbol of hope.”
