Dear White People star Justin Dobies joins Halloween‘s Scout Taylor-Compton, pictured, Adi Shankar, Jerry Purpdrank, James Landry Hebert, Elizabeth Whitson (“Awkward”), and genre fav Noah Segan in the indie dark comedy Get the Girl, says Variety.
“The story revolves around a wealthy young man who is conned into staging a fake kidnapping in order to be a hero and win the affection of a girl — only to see one of the hired kidnappers accidentally killed.”
Madison County and Contracted‘s Eric England is directing from his own script, based on a story by Graham Denman.
Shooting will start this fall in Los Angeles.
