Kathryn Eastwood (Jersey Boys) makes her horror film debut in the zombie anthology Virus of the Dead.
Her story, “American Virus”, also stars Shane Ryan (Samurai Cop 2) and Tommie Vegas (The Interrogation of Cheryl Cooper, The Trust), and was directed by Ryan (My Name is A by Anonymous), who co-wrote the script with Eastwood.
Other filmmakers include James Cullen Bressack (Blood Lake: Attack of the Killer Lampreys), Ryan Nicholson (Gutterballs, Live Feed) and Laid to Rest‘s very own Chromeskull, actor Nick Principe.
Tony Newton boards the anthology with his story, “Cam Girl”, starring Mhairi Calvey, who recently returned to acting after nearly 20 years since her debut film role in Mel Gibson’s Braveheart.
“Virus of the Dead tells the story of zombie attacks around the globe firsthand, through cell phones, webcams, and other consumer-friendly forms of media.“
