Fans of Tony Wash’s indie 2007’s It’s My Party and I’ll Die If I Want To will be on the run from The Rake.
“90210’s” Shenae Grimes, pictured, Rachel Melvin, Izabella Miko and Joey Bicicchi are starring in Wash’s horror-thriller The Rake for Red Band Films, Variety writes.
Wash is directing from his own script, which “Follows three siblings as they return home to reconcile the murder of their parents 20 years earlier, and discover a startling connection to a local urban legend.”
Mike Dozier will produce The Rake, while Jason Howard, Tommy Vlahopoulos and Matthew Lamothe will serve as executive producers.
The project came together after Wash’s short “The Muck” debuted at last year’s SXSW.
