Devilworks Hopes to Give the World a ‘Red Christmas’

After premiering at last July’s Fantasia Film Festival in Montreal, Devilworks is selling Red Christmas (read our review) across the world in hopes of us all having a bloody holiday season.

A troubled matriarch must defend her family when a mysterious stranger turns up at her secluded country mansion on Christmas day. A day of celebration becomes a night of terror, as the stranger reveals a secret from the family’s past, and threatens to destroy their future.

Directed by Craig Anderson, the movie stars E.T. and Cujo’s Dee Wallace as well as Geoff Morrell, Sarah Bishop, and Janis McGavin.

Patrick Cooper reviewed Red Christmas out of the Fantasia premiere, calling it “the aborted fetus slasher you always wanted.”

Here’s the latest trailer.
