Demi Moore Becomes One of the ‘Corporate Animals’

We told you earlier this year that Patrick Brice, director of both Creep films, is in pre-production on a comedy that has elements of horror, such as cannibalism. In Corporate Animals, a retreat goes dangerously wrong.

Heading into Cannes, Bloody Disgusting learned that the film would possibly star Ed Helms (Tag, Vacation, We’re the Millers, The Hangover), and Jessica Williams (Fantastic Beasts: The Crime of Grindelwald, The Incredible Jessica James). Now, we’re hearing that Demi Moore (The Seventh Sign, Parasite) is replacing Sharon Stone (The Disaster Artist, Casino, Basic Instinct) in one of the main roles.

Lucy (Moore) is the egotistical megalomaniac CEO of Incredible Edibles, America’s premier provider of edible cutlery. In her infinite wisdom, Lucy leads her staff including her long-suffering assistants, Freddie and Jess (Williams), on a corporate team-building caving weekend to New Mexico. When disaster strikes, not even their useless guide, Brandon (Helms), can save them. Trapped underground by a cave-in, this mismatched and disgruntled group must pull together in order to survive. Amidst sexual tension, startling business revelations and casual cannibalism, Freddie and Jess emerge from Lucy’s shadow. Hilarious and sometimes shocking, the laughs and gasps mount as these Corporate Animals are unleashed.

Protagonist Pictures will be handling the film at Cannes.
