Alter, a new horror brand from global studio Gunpowder & Sky, will host the world premiere of its new film Deadcon on June 15th at the Music Box Theatre as part of this year’s Cinepocalypse Film Festival.
Directed by Caryn Waecther, Deadcon tackles isolation in the age of social media and follows real-life YouTubers Lauren Elizabeth and Claudia Sulewski as they face vengeful ghosts even more horrifying than their devoted fans.
Following the world premiere in Chicago, Deadcon will continue a festival tour this summer and fall, with more dates to be announced. Tickets for Deadcon‘s premiere at Cinepocalypse are now available, with the official trailer viewable below.
