Actress Katie Stegeman (Contracted, Roadside) this time stepped behind the camera with her short film “Nice Place”, which stars John Candy’s son, Chris Candy, as well as John Marrott.
In the short, the simple phrase, “Nice Place”, is called into question after a seemingly benign flirtation begets an imposing situation.
“I wanted to show what it feels like to be stalked (as a woman), but through the lens of two men,” Stegeman tells Bloody Disgusting, while also adding that the film zeroes in on “the idea of having no resolution for the rest of your life.”
