“Schitt’s Creek” and “12 Monkeys” star Emily Hampshire has joined the indie horror feature Home, directed and produced by Adam O’Brien of Delirium Pictures (Banshee, Insane), Bloody Disgusting learned.
Home is a psychological horror film that begins after the death of their newborn Alex, Meredith (Hampshire) and her husband, Jared, separate. Alone in her house, Meredith is convinced that Alex is still alive, unaware that the death of her baby has caused the birth of something terribly sinister.
The film is produced by Philip Kalin-Hajdu (Game of Death), who penned the original script, and Benoit Beaulieu (Turbo Kid), who also serves as Director of Photography. Home is Emily Hampshire’s first executive producer credit.
Home begins production August 13, 2019, in Montreal, QC.
