After a hefty bidding war, MGM has landed the rights to Deeper, a supernatural thriller starring Bradley Cooper, according to Variety.
Deeper, which is being directed by Kornel Mundruczo (White Gods) and is written by Max Landis, “…involves a former astronaut hired to take a submersible to the lowest point in the ocean. As the submersible gets closer to its destination, supernatural events transpire.”
The script is being described as having elements of Gravity and some are saying that it’s a contender for an Oscar, which would be a welcome event!
The film is being produced by Landis and David Goyer.
