‘Intruders’ Invades UK Video; Nominated For Golden Trailer Award!
There’s a lot of impressive people behind Intruders, the home invasion slasher film that’s been nominated for a Golden Trailer Award.
Jeff Rice Films (The Taking of Deborah Logan) produced with Lati Grobman and Christa Campbell (Texas Chainsaw 3D, Leatherface), Steven Schneider (Insidious, Paranormal Activity, The Visit) and even Erik Olsen (Orphan, The Reaping, The Hills Run Red), with Tommy Vlahopoulos, Matthew Lamothe, Brian Netto and Rob Van Norden.
Beth Riesgraf (read our interview) stars in the film as Anna, “a woman who suffers from agoraphobia so crippling that when a trio of criminals breaks into her house, she cannot bring herself to flee. But what the intruders don’t realize is that agoraphobia is not her only psychosis.“
The film also features Rory Culkin (Scream 4), Martin Starr (Dead Snow 2, HBO’s “Silicon Valley”) and Jack Kesy (FX’s “The Strain”).
Intruders is the debut feature from Adam Schindler, one half of LA based film collective Type AB, which was behind last year’s festival favorite Delivery: The Beast Within.
Already doing extremely well here in the States, UK audiences can pick up the slasher on DVD, Blu-ray and Digital HD June 6th.
Interestingly enough, there’s even more news as the indie production is up against some major studio films for a Golden Trailer Award.
Yes, Intruders was nominated for “Best Horror” alongside New Line Cinema’s The Conjuring and even A24’s The Witch. Check out the impressive Intruders trailer above that was cut by Outpost media for Momentum Pictures.
