For many people, their introduction to J-horror was the Sam Raimi-produced 2004 flick The Grudge, which was directed by Takashi Shimizu, the creator of the original Ju-On series that the remake was based on. Here they met Kayako and Toshio, two very eerie ghosts who have some serious bags under their eyes and are in desperate need of some sunlight.
But when these specters aren’t lurking over your bed or hiding under your sheets, it turns out that the mother/son duo are all about doing everything a normal, living family like to do. They go to the park, eat meals, and just spend some quality time with each other. Well, that’s at least according to the amazing Instagram account that follows the pair through their daily shenanigans!
