When it comes to badass women in recent cinema, one of the big names that comes to mind is Kate Beckinsale’s “Selene”, the heroine of the Underworld films. She’s strong yet doesn’t mind showing vulnerability when it fits the story. She’s a fierce warrior but recognizes the costs and consequences of her actions. I’m not the biggest fan of the movies but I recognize a well-written and well-rounded character when I see one.

For those of you who are also fans of Selene, Star Ace Toys LTD. has announced a 1/6th scale figure that is LOADED with accessories and is incredibly detailed.
