Photographer Creates Long Exposure Shots of Entire Movies

2001: A Space Odyssey (1968)

Photographer Jason Shulman has created a series on his site where he takes long exposures of movies, essentially capturing the entire film in one photograph. The results are rather beautiful, with small hints located in various places that immediately call to mind specific scenes or memorable moments. Truly, the more you look at each photograph, the more layers you see unfold before your very eyes. It’s almost hypnotizing.
