NECA has just announced that their next entry in the “Ultimate Freddy” line will be from none other than A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors. From the pictures they tweeted out, which you can see below, the set will come with a fully articulated Freddy Krueger figure, various accessories, as well as the unfinished doll house that Kristen was building in the beginning of the film AND, what I consider to be the ultimate badass offering, Freddy as the marionette puppet! The set will be coming this fall.
In the 1987 sequel, “Survivors of undead serial killer Freddy Krueger – who stalks his victims in their dreams – learn to take control of their own dreams in order to fight back.”
Directed by Chuck Russell and starring Heather Langenkamp (as Nancy), Robert Englund, Patricia Arquette, Ken Sagoes, Rodney Eastmen, and Laurence “Larry” Fishburne, Dream Warriors is considered by many to be the strongest sequel and some even argue the best Nightmare film in the series.
