Man, VR really is becoming a huge thing. Not just something for big industries anymore, smaller niche companies and filmmakers are creating their own virtual reality experiences that everyone is able to experience in some way, shape, or form.
Today, filmmaker Jeremy Sciarappa has created his own little take on The Ring, specifically the part where Samara/Sadako rises from the well on the TV, goes through the screen, and begins teleporting all over the place before getting right in your face.
What I love about this experience is that I can experience it on my laptop by clicking and dragging in the video window OR I can open the video on my phone and simply move the phone around to focus on what I want to see. The technology is so cool and I can’t even imagine where it’ll be in 3-4 years!
