Tamashii Nations has released pictures of their upcoming Godzilla: Resurgence figurine and the King of Monsters has never looked scarier! Seriously, just take a look at its mouth! It really is something out of a nightmare with its oddly placed teeth, its fleshy interior (apparently Godzilla doesn’t have a tongue?), and bloody gums. I don’t know if Godzilla flosses regularly but it’s very clear that he needs to up his dental hygiene.

Toyark (who have more photos that you should absolutely check out) has details on scale and cost, writing that the figure, “…measures about 40CM (15.75 inches) from head-to-tail and will stand at 18CM (7″) tall. It is due for release this November. It will be priced at 12,960 Yen (about $126 USD).”
As you can see from the photos below, there is a lot of articulation going on, making this a wickedly cool toy! Alas, no pre-orders are available just yet but Tamashii has an official dedicated website.
Godzilla: Resurgence, the 29th entry in the franchise, will be hitting theaters in Japan on July 29th. It is co-directed by Hideaki Anno (Evangelion) and Shinji Higuchi (Attack on Titan). Anno has written the script.
