“How to Get Away With Murder” actress Karla Souza has joined the cast of the Jacob’s Ladder remake, according to Deadline. She joins Guy Burnet and Michael Ealy.
The site explains that Souza will be playing, “…Annie/Angel, a trauma nurse who works with Jacob’s medical crew in Afghanistan.”
The remake of the 1990 psychological thriller will be directed by David M. Rosenthal based on a script by Jeff Buhler (The Midnight Meat Train) and Sarah Thorp.
In the original film, “…a haunted Vietnam War veteran attempts to discover his past while suffering from a severe case of dissociation. To do so, he must decipher reality and life from his own dreams, delusion, and perception of death.“
