A brand new trailer for the upcoming dark horror/comedy Red Christmas has been released and can be seen below.
The first trailer created a strong sense of unease by utilizing only music and purposefully leaving out all dialogue. This time, the trailer is packed to the brim with quippy dialogue and has a far more lighthearted approach, embracing the comedic aspect that I didn’t realize this movie even had!
A troubled matriarch must defend her family when a mysterious stranger turns up at her secluded country mansion on Christmas day. A day of celebration becomes a night of terror, as the stranger reveals a secret from the family’s past, and threatens to destroy their future.
Directed by Craig Anderson, the movie stars Dee Wallace as well as Geoff Morrell, Sarah Bishop, and Janis McGavin.
The film having its International Premiere at Montreal’s Fantasia International Film Festival on July 23rd, with writer/director Craig Anderson and star Dee Wallace in attendance.
