Rob Zombie always shines when he taps into his roots, which is why this carny-esque poster for 31 is like a cool piece of folk art. Too bad it’s noisy and hard to follow. What I do like, though, is that it features the rules above all else.
The film is having a one night only extravaganza on September 1st before arriving on VOD platforms September 16 and in limited theaters October 21.
In the film, “Five carnival workers are kidnapped and held hostage in an abandoned, Hell-like compound where they are forced to participate in a violent game, the goal of which is to survive twelve hours against a gang of sadistic clowns.”
