A new trailer for the BH Tilt/WWE Films horror film Incarnate has been released and can be seen below.
The film stars Aaron Eckhart (Battle Los Angeles, I, Frankenstein), Catalina Sandino Moreno (Maria Full of Grace, Che Part 1 and 2), and features a cameo from WWE superstar Mark Henry.
Brad Peyton (San Andreas, Journey 2: The Mysterious Island, Cats and Dogs 2) directed from a screenplay by Ronnie Christensen (Passengers, Dark Tide) in which an exorcist taps into the subconscious of a nine-year old boy, played by David Mazouz, who is possessed by a powerful, ancient demon.
Here’s the official synopsis for Incarnate, now in theaters December 2nd:
“A scientist with the ability to enter the subconscious minds of the possessed must save a young boy from the grips of a demon with powers never seen before, while facing the horrors of his past.”
The movie looks fun and definitely takes inspiration from The Cell, which isn’t a bad thing. It’s just that these kinds of movies are a difficult territory to venture into because when you have the freedom to create whatever “reality” you want, it’s hard to find a way to make the actual reality remain more terrifying. Yeah, this kid’s head is creepy but his potential death should be the focus. Let’s see if they can balance that out!
