“Tell them how I am defying gravity! I’m flying high, defying gravity!“*
Two clips from the upcoming sci-fi thriller The Arrival have crash landed on the internet and they really drive home the claustrophobia and oddness that the film is going to offer.
The first clip shows the science team entering a spaceship which seemingly has a gravity of its own, drawing them up into its bowels. The second clip shows Amy Adams removing her hazmat suit because she realizes the aliens need to see her as clearly as possible.
“When mysterious spacecrafts touch down across the globe, an elite team – lead by expert linguist Louise Banks (Amy Adams) – is brought together to investigate. As mankind teeters on the verge of global war, Banks and the team race against time for answers – and to find them, she will take a chance that could threaten her life, and quite possibly humanity.”
Denis Villeneuve (Prisoners, Enemy, Sicario) directs Amy Adams, Jeremy Renner, and Forest Whitaker in the film, which comes out November 11th, 2016.
Thanks to the folk over at The Playlist for the find!
