Steven DeGennaro’s Found Footage 3D made its world premiere at Wizard World Chicago’s Bruce Campbell Horror Film Festival to a crowd of delighted horror fans.
In the film, a group of low-budget filmmakers sets out to make “the first 3D found footage horror film,” but find themselves *in* the first 3D found footage horror film when the evil entity from their movie escapes into their behind-the-scenes footage.
It was awesome, leaving my jaw on the floor. I explained in my review that the film “is an absolute riot that’s also quite scary, setting up a multitude of payoffs that deliver a flurry of satisfying punches.”
The first trailer is pretty meta, taking loving jabs at many of the sub genre’s cliches. Now, check out a brand new poster that this wonderful movie deserves.
