This morning Kailey Marsh’s BloodList announced the most-liked, screenplays, pilots and shorts (for the first time) in the horror, thriller, dark comedy and sci-fi space. This year’s list is filled with murder, mayhem, possessions. mannequins and thrills. This year 74 execs voted.
This is the first year of #FreshBloodSelects, which will share the spotlight, and introduce some new writers and scripts to the town. Those selected had submitted their work to the Fresh Blood Initiative on BloodList.com. Submitting to FreshBlood is completely free.
BloodList as a brand is moving into producing, and becoming more of a label than just an annual list. The list of produced films that showed up on BloodList have grown as well (Arrival, Autopsy of Jane Doe, The Shallows, The Blackcoat’s Daughter).
