The official Alien Twitter account has been dropping imagery with cryptic numbers (“220512052104” and “130112062104″) that some think are “microseconds”, which would translate into days. Yes, according to these tweets we could be getting a trailer for Ridley Scott’s Alien: Covenant as early as Thursday. One image is of colonial marines, while the other is of what looks like another version of cryo-nap champers.

In addition, James Franco, who was rumored to also be part of the cast, all but confirmed his involvement, “So the news is out? I don’t know if he is trying to trick me.”
Michael Fassbender is returning as Prometheus‘ android David, with Katherine Waterston (Inherent Vice, Jobs, The Babysitters) leading a new crew that includes Demian Bichir and Danny McBride (“Eastbound and Down”), as well as Alex England (Gods of Egypt), Billy Crudup, Amy Seimetz (A Horrible Way to Die, “The Killing”), Jussie Smollett (“Empire”), Carmen Ejogo, and Callie Hernandez (Machete Kills).
Bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy, the crew of the colony ship Covenant discovers what they think is an uncharted paradise, but is actually a dark, dangerous world — whose sole inhabitant is the “synthetic” David (Michael Fassbender), survivor of the doomed Prometheus expedition.
Alien: Covenant will burst into theaters on May 19, 2017.
