One of the hottest tickets out of the Sundance Film Festival was A Ghost Story, written and directed by David Lowery (Pete’s Dragon, Peter Pan).
A24, the company behind The Witch, The Blackcoat’s Daughter, Green Room and Ex Machina will distribute the film on July 7th, Bloody Disgusting learned.
Oscar nominated Casey Affleck (ParaNorman, The Killer Inside Me), Rooney Mara (The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, A Nightmare on Elm Street), Will Oldham, Sonia Acevedo, Rob Zabrecky, and Liz Franke star in this story of a ghost and the house he haunts.
A Ghost Story was one of the best reviewed films out of the fest, and knowing A24 is distributing easily makes this one of the summer’s big must-see movies.
