Vicious ‘Life’ Footage Breaks Every. Single. Bone.
Holy. Shit.
We already know that Sony Pictures’ Life is a blatant Alien ripoff, but it still looks pretty cool. What I’ve wanted to know, however, is just how violent will it be? In one of the single best clips ever released by a studio prior to a film’s release, we can see the “birth” of this lifeform, which was obtained on Mars. It isn’t fucking around, either. It latches on to the hand of one of the crew members, and quickly breaks every single bone.
The biggest caveat for me is that it stars Jake Gyllenhaal, one of the best actors on the planet, along with Rebecca Ferguson, Ryan Reynolds, Hiroyuki Sanada, Ariyon Bakare, and Olga Dihovichnaya.
Ironically, Ferguson nearly nabbed the lead role in Ridley Scott Alien: Covenant, in theaters this May.
Life tells the story of the six-member crew of the International Space Station that is on the cutting edge of one of the most important discoveries in human history: the first evidence of extraterrestrial life on Mars. As the crew begins to conduct research, their methods end up having unintended consequences and the life form proves more intelligent than anyone ever expected.
Life is discovered on March 24, 2017.

‘Victorian Psycho’ Official Trailer – Maika Monroe Slays the Screen This September
Maika Monroe (It Follows, Longlegs) stars in the upcoming psychological horror thriller Victorian Psycho, and Bleecker Street has unleashed the brand new official trailer today.
Watch the official trailer for Victorian Psycho starring Maika Monroe below.
Victorian Psycho releases in theaters September 25, 2026.
Maika Monroe stars as eccentric governess Winifred Notty, who arrives at a remote gothic manor where strange happenings stir suspicion that she’s not what she seems.
Thomasin McKenzie (Last Night in Soho), Jason Isaacs (Honey Bunch), Ruth Wilson, Amy De Bruhn, and “Hamnet” breakout Jacobi Jupe also star.
Zachary Wigon (Sanctuary) directed the film from a script by author Virginia Feito (Mrs. March), based on her novel of the same name. Victorian Psycho is produced by Dan Kagan (Longlegs) and Sebastien Raybaud (Greenland: Migration).
Victorian Psycho is rated ‘R’ for “strong bloody violence and brief sexual material.”
Meagan Navarro wrote in her review for Bloody Disgusting, “Carnage becomes pretty dang delightful in Maika Monroe’s capable hands. Victorian Psycho operates on familiar slay grounds, but it’s an absolute blast thanks to its zany style and deranged sense of fun.”
