‘It’ Trailer Coming Out of the Sewers Next Week?

Pennywise is New Line Cinema's IT

We’re speculating on trailer release dates now. But this one is a biggie.

Bloody Disgusting was on hand to witness the debut of footage from Andy Muschietti‘s It, which Trace was absolutely floored by, explaining, “As you can imagine, expectations were pretty high, but if the audience reactions were anything to go by, the footage met those expectations and then some.” The question, however, was whether or not the footage would be released online. A New Line/Warner Bros. rep told me no, it was exclusive to SXSW attendees. So what could the trailer reveal?

Speaking of, Muschietti took to Instagram with the below cryptic photograph displaying a balloon with the number “6”. It’s speculated that this is how many days Stephen King fans are going to have to wait to see Pennywise (Bill Skarsgard) return from the sewer.

Producer Barbara Muschietti also teased fans by posting a photo of Wyatt Oleff and Jack Dylan Grazer with the caption, “What is 22 + 7?” Yes, that would be March 29th! Could the first trailer make its way online next week?! We’ve checked in with the studio for confirmation and will update as soon as we hear back.

Jaeden Lieberher, Finn Wolfhard, Nicholas Hamilton, Jack Dylan Grazer, Wyatt Oleff, Chosen Jacobs, Jeremy Ray Taylor, and Sophia Lillis star with Bill Skarsgard, who portrays Pennywise. Creature performer Javier Botet stars as The Leper, with Owen Teague playing Patrick Hocksetter, part of a group of bullies who torment The Losers’ Club.

In a small town in Maine, seven children known as The Losers’ Club come face to face with life problems, bullies, and a monster that takes the shape of a clown called Pennywise.
