A few days ago we wondered if the trailer for It would be arriving this coming Wednesday. While we have no confirmation, and New Line/Warner Bros. didn’t return my inquiries, it’s looking like something Pennywise related is arriving this week.
Last week, It director Andy Muschietti took to Instagram with a cryptic photograph displaying a balloon with the number “6”. It’s was speculated that this is how many days Stephen King fans are going to have to wait to see Pennywise (Bill Skarsgard) return from the sewer. Muschietti didn’t stop, however, continuing the countdown.
Bloody Disgusting was on hand to witness the debut of footage from Andy Muschietti‘s It, which Trace was absolutely floored by, explaining, “As you can imagine, expectations were pretty high, but if the audience reactions were anything to go by, the footage met those expectations and then some.”
Jaeden Lieberher, Finn Wolfhard, Nicholas Hamilton, Jack Dylan Grazer, Wyatt Oleff, Chosen Jacobs, Jeremy Ray Taylor, and Sophia Lillis star with Bill Skarsgard, who portrays Pennywise. Creature performer Javier Botet stars as The Leper, with Owen Teague playing Patrick Hocksetter, part of a group of bullies who torment The Losers’ Club.
