Paco Plaza, who reinvigorated the zombie subgenre with [REC], is looking to do the same with the famed Ouija board in Veronica, from Film Factory.
Veronica is about a young woman (Sandra Escacena) who must protect her younger brother and sister after she attempts to bring back the spirit of their dead father through an Ouija ritual.
If we didn’t already have enough awesome movies arriving this year, Sony’s international arm will release Veronica on August 25th, which means it’s quite possible that Sony, who released a few of the [REC] films here in the States, could also do the same with this. We shared this excellent trailer earlier this year, now we’re screaming over this eye-catching international one-sheet that we’d hang on our wall without hesitation.
