‘Dead Shack’ Trailer Dripping with Undead Gore!

Published

on

Director Peter Ricq has released the first trailer for his Dead Shack, which will have its UK premiere at the upcoming FrightFest in London.

The festival boasts it as a typical Amblin Entertainment movie from the 1980s flipped into stark terror. The trailer is not only dripping with blood and guts but it’s tonally perfect. While it’s a comedy, the trailer tells us that Ricq took his film seriously, which means the fun nature comes within the context of the scenes as opposed to being filled with eye-rolling knee-slappers. Even though this teaser is only 60-seconds long, I can tell this could be a special film.

In the dark comedy shocker, “A group of teens on a weekend getaway at a secluded cabin in the woods soon find themselves fighting off a serious threat to their lives. Not only that they must save their hard-partying, drunk and stoned parents from a predatory neighbor who is hellbent on feeding them all to her undead family.

Lauren Holly, Valerie Tian, Donavon Stinson, Lizzie Boys, and June B. Wilde star in this Canadian indie production.
