Another passing this month as we’ve lost Sam Shepard, who was 73 years old, a spokesperson for his family confirmed to THR.
Shepard died at his home in Kentucky on Thursday, July 27 from complications from ALS. He was with his family at the time of his death.
He was a Pulitzer Prize-winning dramatist and Oscar-nominated actor who appeared in such classics as Buried Child and The Right Stuff, while most recently starring in Netflix’s thrilling “Bloodline” series. Horror fans will remember him for starring alongside Sarah Michelle Gellar in The Return (2006). His career was astounding and you can read all about it over at THR.
