[Los Angeles] Special ‘The Lost Tree’ Party at the Chinese Theatre
Hey, Los Angeles, next Monday, October 9th, Moviedude is hosting a special screening of The Lost Tree at the famous Chinese Theatre.
The film is a horror-thriller starring Thomas Nicholas, Michael Madsen (Reservoir Dogs, Kill Bill: Vol. 1, Kill Bill: Vol. 2), Lacey Chabert (Black Christmas, Mean Girls, “Part of Five”), Scott Grimes (Robin Hood, “American Dad”), and Clare Kramer (Bring It On, The Rules of Attraction), and Thomas Ian Nicholas.
“The Lost Tree is centered around a man, Noah (Nicholas), who is guilt-ridden for the death of his wife, Emma (Kramer). He travels to an isolated cabin in search of peace and isolation. But he soon learns of the dangerous surroundings of the area.“
The red carpet guest list includes James Van Der Beek, Sean Patrick Thomas, Clifton Collins Jr, Andrew Keegan, Eddie Kaye Thomas, Chris Owen, Adam Hertz, Danny Masterson, Lea Thompson, Ryan Cabrera, Jason Ritter, Adam Rodriquez, and Dennis Haskins.
Moviedude promises there will be a signing, a Q/A with Thomas, Clare, Greg, and maybe Lacey, and after the film.

Keith C. Blackmore’s book series Mountain Man is headed to the screen, with Deadline reporting today that Joe Manganiello (“True Blood”) is on board to star in the film adaptation.
The actor will also produce the upcoming zombie movie.
“Mountain Man tells the story of Gus, a lonely post-apocalyptic survivor facing isolation and the ever-present specter of a zombie attack, who struggles with alcohol abuse and suicidal thoughts until he discovers another survivor, a captivating woman who poses another threat altogether.”
John Lee (False Positive) will direct Mountain Man from a script by Matt Deller.
“John is a brilliant creative mind. We’ve been looking for the right thing to do together since we filmed Pee Wee’s Big Holiday and it’s finally here,” 3:59’s Joe and Nick Manganiello told Deadline. “Very excited to get to work on such weird, wild project with him.”
Film Bridge International is launching sales on the project in Cannes.
Blackmore’s Mountain Man series features 7 books, the first one published in 2011.
