James Cameron has slowly been trickling out news about the next Terminator film, which will ignite a brand new trilogy. Deadpool‘s Tim Miller is directing, with both Arnold Schwarzenegger and Linda Hamilton returning to their franchise roles. These reveals only left me with more questions, mainly who else would make an appearance? While I’m praying to the film gods that we’ll see Edward Furlong return as John Connor, another T2 star is hoping to make his return.
T-1000 actor Robert Patrick tells MovieWeb that he’d love to join the growing cast of Terminator 6.
“Absolutely! Anybody [asks] me to do anything, return anywhere, I am there.”
This is by no means confirmation that he will even be asked to join the new trilogy, only that he’s open to a return if Cameron and Miller were to have him.

Paramount next Terminator film, which doesn’t yet have a title, will arrive on July 26, 2019.
The plan? To get the franchise back on track and launch a whole new trilogy that’ll mix iconic characters from the past with brand new ones.
A writers room for the film is currently assembled with David Goyer, Charles Eglee, Josh Friedman and Justin Rhodes and producer David Ellison, as well as Cameron.
