Wild ‘Nereus’ Poster Art Channels Lovecraft

Ahead of AFM, genre specialists Devilworks have dropped new trailers for the genre titles being launched at the market.

One of which is really cool, Georges Padey’s Nereus, which tells of a young girl who is attacked by an unearthly creature in her friend’s swimming pool. Later, she discovers that anyone who comes into contact with the water is in danger and she is driven to confront the mystical and malevolent creature lurking in the depths.

Itziar Martinez, also the screenwriter, stars alongside Dennis Mencia, Raul Walder and Natalie Blackman. A 2018 release is expected.

Here’s the official trailer to go along with some sales art that channels H.P. Lovecraft.

One of my personal favorite horror movies of all time, 1987’s gateway horror classic The Gate is opening back up on May 14 with a brand new Blu-ray SteelBook release from Lionsgate!

The new release will feature fresh SteelBook artwork from Vance Kelly, seen below.

When best friends Glen (Stephen Dorff) and Terry (Louis Tripp) stumble across a mysterious crystalline rock in Glen’s backyard, they quickly dig up the newly sodden lawn searching for more precious stones.
