Michael Dougherty, who just wrapped filming on Godzilla: King of the Monsters, hopes to make the long-awaited Trick ‘r Treat 2 his next project, and you better believe we’re hoping for the same thing. But alas, another Halloween has come and gone, and Sam is nowhere to be found… right?
Well, hold that thought!
The official Trick ‘r Treat Twitter just tweeted out a fun holiday greeting in the form of a digital Halloween card that reminds us that Sam is always watching on Halloween!
Most fun of all, Sam is sitting in front of a painting of the Godzilla 2014 poster, uniting Dougherty’s own monster with the iconic one he’s bringing back to the screen in 2019.
We miss you, Sam. And you too, Godzilla.
