Don’t Worry, Everything in the ‘Fallen Kingdom’ Trailer is from the Film’s First Half
“I can’t believe they showed the final act!” screamed a worried Film Twitter.
When the Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom trailer premiered last night, I personally saw many people on social media bemoaning the fact that it had appeared to showcase a major set-piece from the final act. The film seems to be structured around a volcano exploding on Isla Nublar, and that sequence is front and center in the trailer.
But don’t worry, says writer/producer Colin Trevorrow. You ain’t seen nothing yet.
“Everything in the trailer is from the first 57 minutes,” Trevorrow promised today.
From what we gather, the volcano explosion is merely the film’s halfway mark, at which point it’ll shift over to another threat entirely. We can only assume that the threat in the film’s second half will be the much-talked-about Indoraptor, a new hybrid dinosaur that, refreshingly, isn’t even glimpsed at all in the trailer.
J. A. Bayona (A Monster Calls) directed the new installment.
Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard are returning for the sequel, which also stars Jeff Goldblum, along with Justice Smith, James Cromwell and Toby Jones. Colin Trevorrow, who directed Jurassic World, wrote the script for the sequel with Derek Connolly.
Producers Frank Marshall and Pat Crowley once again join executive producers Steven Spielberg and Trevorrow. Belén Atienza also produced.

The killer tomatoes are back in Attack of the Killer Tomatoes: Organic Intelligence, and the offiical poster for the brand new movie has been unleashed tonight.
Additionally, we’ve learned that the film’s theatrical release is set for this August, with a panel set for San Diego Comic-Con this month featuring the world premiere of the trailer.

The film features an ensemble cast led by franchise icon John Astin (The Addams Family), reprising his role as Professor Gangreen, comedy legend David Koechner (Anchorman), Academy Award nominee Eric Roberts (The Dark Knight), horror favorite Catherine Corcoran (Terrifier), comedy veteran Dan Bakkedahl (Veep), Myrna Velasco (Star Wars Resistance), Vernée Watson (Shrinking, Fresh Prince of Bel-Air), and Paul Bates (Coming to America).
Attack of the Killer Tomatoes launched in 1979, followed by 1988’s Return of the Killer Tomatoes, 1991’s Killer Tomatoes Strike Back, and 1992’s Killer Tomatoes Eat France.
The franchise also spawned an animated series in 1990.
