First Look at Zac Efron as Ted Bundy in ‘Extremely Wicked’
Filming begins tomorrow on director Joe Berlinger’s Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil, and Vile, which casts Zac Efron in the role of serial killer Ted Bundy.
The film is told from the point of view of Bundy’s former girlfriend Elizabeth Kloepfer, set during the multi-year period that Bundy hid his murder spree from her.
Via Efron himself on Twitter today comes our first look at Efron as Bundy, courtesy of a black and white photo with a simple caption: “Meet Ted,” wrote Efron.

Oscar nominee John Malkovich is the latest to join the cast of the Bundy film, which also stars Lily Collins as Bundy’s former girlfriend.
Malkovich will play Judge Edward Cowart, who presided over the serial killer’s 1979 trial, sentencing him to death.
Bundy was executed in 1989. Shortly before his execution, he confessed to 30 homicides committed in seven states between 1974 and 1978.
The original screenplay, written by Michael Werwie, won the Nicholl Fellowship first prize and was featured on the Black List.
Godzilla is headed back to the big screen in Toho’s Godzilla Minus Zero from director Takashi Yamazaki (Godzilla Minus One), the official sequel to his hit Godzilla Minus One.
The first Japanese movie to be filmed for IMAX, Godzilla Minus Zero will receive a wide theatrical release in North America on November 6, 2026 via GKIDS.

Godzilla Minus One stars Ryunosuke Kamiki and Minami Hamabe will both be reprising their roles in Godzilla Minus Zero, with Takashi Yamazaki back in the director’s chair.
The film is set in 1949 — two years after the events of its predecessor.
Godzilla Minus Zero marks Toho’s 34th Godzilla film since 1954.
Godzilla Minus One grossed $116 million worldwide, making it the most successful Japanese Godzilla film. It went on to win an Academy Award for Best Visual Effects along with eight Japan Academy Film Prize awards. Needless to say, the bar has been raised by Toho.
With Yamazaki back at the helm, Godzilla Minus Zero promises to be an epic EVENT.
