The three masked maniacs we first met 10 years ago are coming back in just under two months in sequel/reboot(?) The Strangers: Prey at Night, which has been at the center of a pretty kickass promotional campaign. And that fun continues with a couple of truly awesome theater standees that have begun popping up around the country.
As spotted over on Instagram, the standees are clearly tailored to social media, allowing fans to literally take photos with Dollface, Pin-up Girl and the Man in the Mask!
Good to know that the art of the theater standee has not yet been lost.
The Strangers return on March 9, 2018.
In the film, directed by Johannes Roberts (47 Meters Down), “A family’s road trip takes a dangerous turn when they arrive at a secluded mobile home park to stay with some relatives and find it mysteriously deserted. Under the cover of darkness, three masked psychopaths pay them a visit to test the family’s every limit as they struggle to survive.”
Christina Hendricks, Bailee Madison, Lewis Pullman, and Martin Henderson star, with Emma Bellomy as DOLLFACE, Lea Enslin as PIN-UP GIRL, and Damian Maffei as the MAN IN THE MASK.
Bryan Bertino and Ben Ketai wrote the script.
