The Best ‘Winchester’ Poster Was Released Today?
Color me confused. None of the posters for CBS Films’ Winchester were all that eye-catching, which is why it’s perplexing to me that they just released this brand new art on the day of release. It’s the best of the bunch, the most-eye-catching, and yet we’re just now seeing it. This is the kind of one-sheet I’d expect to see in theaters months before release, not the day of. Alas, here we are and we may as well enjoy it. Terror builds through Helen Mirren’s veil…
Lionsgate and CBS Films’ Winchester: The House That Ghosts Built stars Academy Award winner Helen Mirren as firearm heiress Sarah Winchester who spent decades using her fortune to expand upon her home, and no one is quite sure why. The most common belief? She was cursed by spirits who demanded she never stop building.
Directed by Michael and Peter Spierig (Daybreakers, Predestination, Jigsaw), check out Daniel Danger’s excellent art poster for the haunter in theaters everywhere tomorrow. On it, the spirits float, which is oddly similar to last year’s IT.
In the film, “On an isolated stretch of land 50 miles outside of San Francisco sits the most haunted house in the world. Built by Sarah Winchester, (Mirren) heiress to the Winchester fortune, it is a house that knows no end. Constructed in an incessant twenty-four hour a day, seven day a week mania for decades, it stands seven stories tall and contains hundreds of rooms. To the outsider, it looks like a monstrous monument to a disturbed woman’s madness. But Sarah is not building for herself, for her niece (Sarah Snook) or for the brilliant Doctor Eric Price (Clarke) whom she has summoned to the house. She is building a prison, an asylum for hundreds of vengeful ghosts, and the most terrifying among them have a score to settle with the Winchesters…”
In theaters February 2, 2018, Winchester also stars Jason Clarke, Sarah Snook, and Angus Sampson.

‘Fall 2: Deadpoint’ – New Poster Promises Brand New Trailer Tomorrow
The Fall franchise heads to a new location with new characters in the upcoming Fall 2: Deadpoint, and a brand new official poster has been unleashed this morning.
Additionally, a new Fall 2 trailer is promised for tomorrow. Stay tuned.
Releasing in theaters on September 2, 2026, horror sequel Fall 2: Deadpoint is rated PG-13 for “strong language, some violent content/bloody images and drug material.”
Harriet Slater (Tarot) stars in the upcoming Fall 2: Deadpoint alongside Arsema Thomas (“Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story”) and Tom Brittney (Greyhound).
Michael & Peter Spierig (Predestination, Jigsaw) direct Fall 2: Deadpoint from a script by Fall writers Scott Mann (who also directed the original) and Jonathan Frank.
From the survival hit that tapped into the fear of heights and left friends stranded at the top of a tower comes a climb that goes higher, gets deadlier, and hits with next-level adrenaline.
In Fall 2: Deadpoint, two friends take on new heights in Thailand, where unpredictable terrain, extreme exposure, and nowhere to hide push survival further than ever before.
Overwhelmed by her sister Hunter’s death, Jax (Slater) connects with Luce (Thomas), Hunter’s fearless friend. To heal, they attempt the infamous plank walk of Mount Kwan in Thailand.
After a sudden rockslide leaves them stranded on a fragile plank 3000 feet in the air, Jax must confront her deepest fears and fight for survival to find closure.
Fall 3 has already been greenlit, with Mann returning to the director’s chair. The first Fall was a surprise hit in theaters, scaring up $18 million at the worldwide box office back in 2022.
