MPI Will ‘Await Further Instructions’ at the EFM In Berlin
MPI will be taking Johnny Kevorkian‘s sci-fi thriller Await Further Instructions to the EFM in Berlin. Above you’ll see David Bradley and Neerja Naik, who don’t see eye to eye in this darkly monstrous tale of tyranny and television.
Filmed earlier last year at GSP Studios in York, “the story revolves around the Milgram family, who have gathered to celebrate Christmas, only to find a mysterious black substance has surrounded their house. Something monumental is clearly happening right outside their door, but what exactly – an industrial accident, a terrorist attack, nuclear war? Descending into terrified arguments, they turn on the television, desperate for any information. On screen, a message glows ominously: ‘Stay Indoors and Await Further Instructions”…”
Await Further Instructions is produced by Jack Tarling of Shudder Films and Alan Latham of GSP Studios and directed by Johnny Kevorkian (The Disappeared) from a screenplay by Gavin Williams, the cast includes Hannah Emily Anderson (Jigsaw), David Bradley (Games of Thrones), Sam Gittins (The Smoke), Holly Weston (Howl), Kris Saddler (The Hour), Neerja Naik (Hackney’s Finest), and Grant Masters (Silent Witness). Key crew members include Annika Summerson (DOP), Nina Topp (Production Designer), Dan Martin (Special Effects) & Ben Louden (VFX).

Sarah Michelle Gellar Playing the Grim Reaper in Supernatural Romance from Producers Radio Silence
Sarah Michelle Gellar (Ready or Not 2: Here I Come) is the Grim Reaper and Rudy Pankow (“Outer Banks”) is the Devil in supernatural romance Thud, Deadline reports this week.
Mali Elfman (Next Exit) is directing the film, with Radio Silence producing.
Deadline details, “Based on an original screenplay by Noga Pnueli (Meet Cute), Thud watches as the Grim Reaper and the Devil meet cute at a three-day destination wedding, falling in love after colliding at the event, where they’ve each come to sow their own chaos.”
Tyler Gillett and Matt Bettinelli-Olpin are producing Thud for Radio Silence. The project marks a reunion between the filmmaking team and Sarah Michelle Gellar after Ready or Not 2.
Deadline notes that Thud will shoot in Los Angeles “with a California tax credit.”
Mali Elfman directed the animated short The Scariest Skeleton, and she’s also produced horror films including Queens of the Dead, Haunting of Queen Mary, and Birth/Rebirth.
Mali Elfman is the daughter of legendary composer/musician Danny Elfman.
