Upcoming Horror Film Will Reunite James Gunn and ‘Slither’ Star Elizabeth Banks

Slither Anniversary

I literally just revisited James Gunn‘s super entertaining monster movie Slither last night, the film that introduced us to the unique voice that would go on to bring Guardians of the Galaxy to life on the big screen. Slither, Gunn’s feature debut as a director, starred Elizabeth Banks, and the two are re-teaming for another horror project.

THR reports that Gunn will produce an untitled horror movie with The H Collective, with Banks attached to star and David Yarovesky (The Hive) in the director’s chair.

Elizabeth and I have been on the same artistic page since we first met when she auditioned for Slither back in 2005. She’s since remained one of my best friends in the world, and I’ve been fighting tooth and nail to work with her again. She’s the perfect partner to Yarvo, the H Collective and myself in creating this very special project,” said Gunn in a statement.

Brian and Mark Gunn wrote the script for the film, beginning production in the Spring.
